Antonio Lopes

Antonio J. Lopes, a proud Cape Verdean and dedicated public servant, served as a communications specialist in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1963, reaching the rank of Airman Second Class (A2C). During his service, he was deployed to Guam, where his leadership and technical skills left a lasting impact. After his honorable discharge, Antonio returned to Rhode Island, channeling his military experience into public service, education, and community advocacy, continuing his lifelong commitment to helping others.
